The Nutritionist contains the Food Log where you can record your food intake
each day. The Favorites feature simplifies navigation of the food database.
This is where you can copy foods you consume frequently so they can be added
to you following meals or days. You can also copy single items or entire meals from
one day to another. The Food Log is date driven so you can enter your data whenever
you wish by simply selecting the date. subLime™ has the provision for meals eaten
away from home (where subLime™ sits on your computer). You can record your meals
on one computer and send it to another via an email attachment.
The Food Log keeps a running total of all your nutrients for the day so you can see how much you
still require to meet your daily needs. It tells you exactly where these nutrients came from. Entry is
simplified by using a drag and drop feature to minimize the need for keyboard entires. Some foods
have a Glycemic Index rating (GI) and the Glycemic Load (GL) is automatically calculated depending
on how big your serving size is. While not all foods have a rating, we are continually adding to the list as
they become available. If you know a Glycemic Index that is not offered you can enter it yourself.
All of this data you enter can be used to generate your nutritional status over any period of time that you choose.
When you select date ranges the software will create graphs that give you a clear report on your intake levels
for that period. You will be able to see whether you are meeting your needs or falling short.
subLime's
Nutritionist can generate a shopping list based on your food consumption that is entered in
your Food Log. You can view and alter this list before printing it.
